Walthams Fine Wm Ellery Keywind Hunter Pocket Watch, Runs. Civil War model 57! In good running condition! Movement is marked Wm Ellery , Boston Mass. This dates it to Oct. 1864, during the Civil War. Its a Keywind, Keyset model 1857 watch with 11 jewels. The solid silver hunter (closed face) case is in decent condition with a fair amount of wear. Front cover pops open correctly but a little past 90 degrees. Has 3 ounce mark inside cover. Circle diameter at 2 1/8. To set watch, must pop open front bezel from bottom and turn hand centerpost with key. Watch includes key as seen in pic. Watch is keeping reasonable time for its age. Heavy watch at 5 ounces. Great watch to carry or for collection! Hit esc key to turn off fine music. No return if glass crystal or staff is broken.
