Fab Edwardian French Solid Silver & Emerald & Diamond Paste Crescent Brooch, 950. Here is a really fabulous edwardian solid silver & emerald & diamond paste crescent brooch. The brooch is large measuring just under half of an inch by two & a half inches and is all made of high quality thick solid silver. The brooch is shaped in a crescent and is inset with two rows of paste stones with the bottom row white faceted paste stones to look like diamonds & then the top row of green paste stones to look like emeralds. The brooch has a pin and trombone Cclasp working well and it is marked 950 for high grade silver and another sterling silver and looks to be french in origin and dates to the edwardian era & has wear as you would associate with age & wear & a few of the stones have nibbles out of them, but these are not clearly visible, so doesnt detract but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics, but this really is a lovely example & i havent seen one similiar & just needs a polish. This really is a beautiful brooch in good origional complete condition that looks fabulous worn and a very high quality example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
