Fab Edwardian French Solid Silver & Emerald & Diamond Paste Crescent Brooch, 950. Here is a really fabulous edwardian solid silver & emerald & diamond paste crescent brooch. The brooch is large measuring just under half of an inch by two & a half inches and is all made of high quality thick solid silver. The brooch is shaped in a crescent and is inset with two rows of paste stones with the bottom row white faceted paste stones to look like diamonds & then the top row of green paste stones to look like emeralds. The brooch has a pin and trombone Cclasp working well and it is marked 950 for high grade silver and another sterling silver and looks to be french in origin and dates to the edwardian era & has wear as you would associate with age & wear & a few of the stones have nibbles out of them, but these are not clearly visible, so doesnt detract but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics, but this really is a lovely example & i havent seen one similiar & just needs a polish. This really is a beautiful brooch in good origional complete condition that looks fabulous worn and a very high quality example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. 19h century antique French solid silver & pale sapphire pastes articulated necklace. Fine Oval faceted pale blue paste stones represent pale sapphires and bright faceted cut clear paste stones represent diamonds making this wonderful necklace a joy for its wearer and others will look in envy- it’s a head turner! Circa mid/ later 1800s. DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT Necklace measures circumference – closed approx 15 inches, then the central pendant drops approx 2 inches. Weighs approx 33 grams. 15 oval clear Blue stones collet set and open backed for light dispersal. Clear paste stones are closed back & well set. Fully articulated necklace with good working original and decorative matching box clasp. Lovely central fixed statement pendant. Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver 57 long guard / muff chain with bolt ring fastener. It features unusual fancy lozenge shaped links – it has a feintly stamped hallmark on one of the links but I’m certain it’s French in origin. Tests as solid silver. The bolt ring is also silver, except for the little sliding ball which you move back and forth with your nail, that is the only part which is brass. The chain is 5mm wide and it weighs 40.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No dinks or damage. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
