Fabulous Antique RARE Solid Silver Gilt Psyche & Angel Cameo Brooch. Here is a really fabulous antique rare solid silver gilt psyche & angel cameo brooch/pendant. The brooch measures one & a quarter inches by one & a half inches and is all made of solid silver gilt and retains its gold colour. The brooch is really lovely and has a shell cameo of a delightful scene of what looks to be cupids psyche & angel in lovely carved detail. The brooch has a pin and rolling Cclasp working well and also a bail for wearing as a pendant and also has a rubbed mark for 800 for continental silver and dates to around the art deco era. This really is a lovely antique cameo in very good origional complete condition that is such an attractive rare example of this subject and certainly one for the serious collector. Please note relisted due to timewasting non paying ebayer, Isch9899, but this certainly to anothers advantage. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Here I have an antique solid silver brooch, in the shape of a sword. It features intricate wirework around the hit, which continues around the back of the brooch, and its set with Persian Turquoise gemstones. It appears to be Austro-Hungarian in origin? It fastens with a c-clasp and, as with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. Measures 6.4cm by 2.9cm. It weighs 4.6 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Some minor wear to the gilding here and there. Overall, it just has the usual surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
