Walthams Fine Appleton Tracy Keywind Pocket Watch. In good running condition! Movement is marked Appleton Tracy & Co. This dates it to 1870. Its a Keywind, Keyset model 1857 watch with 11-15 jewels. The solid silver hunter (closed face) case is in good condition with some wear. Front cover pops open correctly upon pressing down on crown. Case is marked Fahys Coin No. Circle diameter at 2 1/8. To set watch, must pop open front bezel from bottom and turn hand centerpost with key. Watch includes key as seen in pic. Watch has been serviced recently, and is keeping good time! Fab Victorian Large Solid Silver, Citrine & Multi Agate Brooch, 1880s. Here is a really lovely victorian solid silver, citrine & multi agate brooch. The brooch is large measuring two & a quarter inches in diameter and is all made of solid silver, although not marked, tested & guarranteed victorian silver. This brooch is typical of these victorian scottish brooches and has a lovely shape with early chasing in good quality detail anmd then is inset to the edges with multi agates of blue lace, carnelian, bloodstone etc which are all polished & flat cut with their lovely colour & natural markings. In the centre is a lovely raised citrine type gemstone which is probably faux, as they often were but looks lovely, faceted & claw set. On the back is a pin and Cclasp working well, although there is a solder mark to the edge of the brooch with the pin mount, but it looks to have been done quite crudely to the back on the mount , but i certainly do not think it detracts, but mentioned for total accuracy, see pics and it dates clearly to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height. This really is a lovely victorian large quality scottish brooch in very good origional complerte condition that looks so lovely worn and a unusual example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Stunning Edwardian Rare Large Solid Silver & Rock Crystal Brooch. Here is the most stunning rare edwardian solid silver & rock crystal brooch. The brooch is large measuring approx two inches by two & a quarter inches & is all set in solid silver, although not marked where i can see, tested & guarranteed solid silver. The brooch has a fabulous design which looks like a flower with ten outer sections, all approx just over a quarter of an inch by half inch in their solid silver settings & inset with real rare rock crystal its quite fabulous all faceted and securely claw set on their individual silver collet mounts and open backed to appreciate the quality with a lovely quality sparkle & catching pools of light. In the centre is a large matching large rock crystal measuring approx one inch by nearly one & a quarter inches again in the same setting. The brooch has a pin & Cclasp working well & it also has a silver bail attatched which is for a safety chain, so i have left it on for easy access to put one on and this brooch dates to the victorian edwardian era and just has wear as you would associate with age but certainly nothing that detracts in any way from this piece. These pieces are getting harder to find today & this brooch is the best example i have ever seen in rock crystal with its size & fabulous condition. This really is the most beautiful antique rock crystal brooch in very good origional complete condition, that looks absolutely stunning worn and a really fine quality example of these, that is as wearable today as when it was fist made & very eyecatching & spectacular. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Often referred to as’sunday best watch chains’ this type of chain first appeared in the 1890′s & where worn mostly by ladies as an alternative to a guard chain to wear a fob watch. This example is in beautiful condition, with 5 graduated chains joined to a central panel leading to side section hung with an ornate silver tassel. Marked sterling silver on hook & also has been acid tested for silver. Could be worn as a bracelet or added too to wear as necklace. Or just to have as an excellent example. The large wings are inlaid with butterfly wing topped with a lovely, cabochon rock crystal.
