A STUNNING AND RARE ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER & WHITE & BLUE PASTE NECKLACE – CIRCA 1800s. Lovely Old Cut open backed paste Stones that sparkle like pale sapphires & diamonds all collet set into fine gallery setting. The clasp is a pretty feature too and the stones are decorated around the total length of the neck so a beautiful necklace from all angles (not just the front). The sparkling paste stones glisten and shimmer like real gems which is the reason why they were so favoured by aristocracy of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. This is all original set in sterling silver which has been acid tested to confirm. The drop of the paste pendant is 2 1/2 inches the spread is 1 1/4 inches. C1890 ANTIQUE 19thC VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER COLLARETTE CHOKER BOOK CHAIN NECKLACE. A fine antique 19th century Victorian sterling silver. Formed of box or book chain links with a beaded chain link border. The necklace opens easily from a hidden catch within one of the panels, and closes firmly with a satisfying snap. A pendant loop is available at the back of the chain, front and centre, on which to hang a silver locket if desired. There are no silver marks present, which is not unusual for an item of this age and type, but it tests as Sterling silver. Necklace Length: 43.5. Cm or 17 inches. Width of necklace: 1.9. Cm or 3/4 inch. Total Weight: 53.4 grams, 1.716 ozt. In very good antique condition, with some light age related wear, clean and ready to wear. Lovely Victorian silver collar and cross. The collar is unhallmarked but tests as silver. The collars total length is approximately 18.5 inches. It is decorated in one side and plain to the reverse. The cross is 2 1/4 inches tall excluding hanging loop. It is decorated in one side and on the reverse has been inscribed from Geo. J Lockyer to MaryAnne Collman Xmas 1886 This inscription now obscures the original hallmarks which I can’t make out. The total weight of the collar and cross is 41 Grams. There are a couple of minor scratches and tings here and there but nothing serious and mentioned purely for accuracy. Any questions please ask. “Art-Deco Solid Silver & Enamel Egyptian Revival Fringe Necklace” Circa 1920 It is in very good condition with no dings or dents, there are a couple of minor chips to the enamel commensurate with its age and use. It is marked on the back of the necklace “800″ for the silver content. The necklace is decorated with silver and enamel Egyptian symbols and there are two mounted scarab beetles. The necklace measures 15 in length and weighs 10.7 grams. This would make a fine addition to any collection of antique jewellery. PLEASE NOTE THAT I ALWAYS LET MY AUCTIONS RUN THEIR FULL DURATION.
