Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver book chain / collar necklace. It features raised round links with beaded detail in the centre, and flat pierced connecting links between them. It fastens with an oversized bolt ring which could be used to hang a locket, or it can be worn alone as a striking necklace. Unmarked but guaranteed solid silver. I have lots of wonderful Victorian period lockets in my shop which would look fabulous with this book chain! The chain wears at 18 inches long including the clasp. The chain is 8mm wide across the front. It weighs 16.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. One of the little silver beads is missing but it’s not really noticeable and could easily be replaced by jeweller. Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. Here I have an antique silver negligee necklace. It features natural amethyst gemstones; there’s a large bezel-set cabochon amethyst in the centre, with a pair of polished drops hanging below. It hangs on an unusual chain with dots of silver at intervals along the length and it fastens with a bolt ring clasp. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tested and guaranteed to be solid silver. Measures 17.5 long. The central amethyst is 19mm by 14mm. The pendant drop total length is 4.8cm. It weighs 10.1 grams. All items are sent UNBOXED, in an organza gift bag. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No damage to the stones. There’s a repair to the chain where a jump ring has been soldered on to replace one of the silver dots, but it’s by the clasp and so isn’t really noticeable. St has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. Beautiful Art Deco Rare Quality Long Solid Silver Filigree Necklace. Here is the most beautiful art deco solid silver filigree necklace. The necklace is long measuring nearly fourty inches all the way round & is all made of continental solid silver. This necklace is absolutely exquisite & i have never seen another of this quality it is certainly not the usual types of early filigree work & i bought it for myself but have never got round to wearing it, but its just to lovely to not be admired & quite a statement piece. The necklace all consists of uniform beads, circular of approx nearly threequarter inches in diameter & they all have this fine early pierced filigree work in good detail. The beads are all connected with good strong matching silver links & then both the end strong links are clearly hallmarked with continental hallmarks, but i dont recognise for what country or the emblems, but as with this work it probably is a low grade continental silver & it comes complete with a marked silver bolt ring clasp working well & it dates to around the art deco era. This really is a fabulous art deco necklace in very good origional complete condition that looks beautiful worn & most certainly is a rare one off example. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. 19h century antique French solid silver & pale sapphire pastes articulated necklace. Fine Oval faceted pale blue paste stones represent pale sapphires and bright faceted cut clear paste stones represent diamonds making this wonderful necklace a joy for its wearer and others will look in envy- it’s a head turner! Circa mid/ later 1800s. DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT Necklace measures circumference – closed approx 15 inches, then the central pendant drops approx 2 inches. Weighs approx 33 grams. 15 oval clear Blue stones collet set and open backed for light dispersal. Clear paste stones are closed back & well set. Fully articulated necklace with good working original and decorative matching box clasp. Lovely central fixed statement pendant. It’s a perfectly strong, good heavy GUAGE, solid silver necklace without any repairs or damage. A truly stunning necklace originally designed to turn heads. Many thanks for looking. Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver book chain / collar. It features sturdy belcher links and it fastens with a dog clip – the clip is not original but works well with the necklace. The ring next to the dog clip has the lion passant hallmark for sterling silver and the clip itself has a maker’s mark stamp, the chain itself does not have a hallmark but is guaranteed solid silver. I have many wonderful Victorian period lockets in my shop which would look fabulous with this book chain! The chain wears at 18.75 inches long including the clasp. The chain is 8mm wide across the front. It weighs 27.8 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. I think the chain may at one point have been gilded, there are some slight traces left in the grooves of each link, but most of it has worn away. There’s a tiny bit of wear to the final link of the chain, where attaches to the ring of the dog clip, but this is quite minor (2nd to last photo). Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
