Beautiful Solid Silver Art Nouveau Plique-à-jour Dragonfly Bangle Cuff Bracelet. Weighs 24.40 grams solid sterling silver. Carries a full English hallmark; “JS” sponsor mark inside a shield, “925″ for sterling solid silver purity and the “anchor” for Birmingham assay office. The hallmark can be clearly seen with a jeweller’s loop. A beautiful Art Nouveau dragonfly cuff bracelet made from solid sterling silver. The wings wrap around the wrist when worn. The wings are filled with plique a jour enamel in tones of emerald green, amethyst purple and sapphire blue. The wings are set with four gilson fire opals. The dragonfly has two real ruby gem stones for eyes and there is another larger gilson fire opal set for it’s body. The bracelet measures 5 cm deep (length of dragonflies body) and the wing span measures just over 7 inches without a 1.25 inch gap to the back (total circumference 8.25 inches with the gap). The bracelet will open out larger or close smaller to suit. The inside of the bracelet is fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office solid sterling silver and signed with the inititals JS.
