Included are TWO (2) Studio Proofs done by H. One bar is Pure. The other is Aluminum. These were created for the Blue Ridge Numismatic Association. Very difficult to find pieces. Some residue on the back of both that I’m sure can easily be removed/cleaned up.

RARE Victor David Brenner / Abraham Lincoln. 999 Silver Plaque Medal

Seldom seen Victor D. Brenner famous Abraham Lincoln portrait plaque struck by Medallic Art Co in 1971 in. 999 FINE SILVER weighing approximately 98.6 grams, measures 2 1/2 in X 1 7/8 in size. Medal / Plaque is edge marked Medallic Art Co NY and FINE SILVER (all as seen). 999 Lincoln/Brenner plaque is edge marked #158 of a presumed 250 serial numbered examples struck. The actual mint finish on this one is excellent and I would go so far as to say this is likely one of the finer examples I have ever seen if not the actual finest! A significant point of interest, these rare Lincoln/Brenner plaques especially this Official one struck in. 999 pure Silver are desired by Lincoln Cent collectors. Victor Brenner was commissioned by President Theodore Roosevelt to create a design to be used for the 100th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth and redesign of the US Cent. This portrait was the designed and actually adopted for that change in 1907 and still in use today.

The Item Pictured is The One You Shall Receive. It took some time to find another one of these. Evidently they don’t come up very often as I could only find where it originated. They were produced by The Lincoln Mint which, I believe, is a private mint similar to The Franklin Mint. It is 1 of a series of 10 that came in a handsome display box.
