Lot of 13 solid silver 1890s sports metals. Made by Marks Athletic Association. Every metal is dated to a specific day in the 1890s, though some are abbreviated to just’90s’. All won by an RC Watson. Obtained these with a collection of vintage golf metals from a golfer by the same name mostly from the early 1900s. No sterling markings on these. Pictures are included of one I took to a jeweler several years ago that filed the rim of one all the way down to shiny silver. The total weight of all of these metals is 7.7 oz. Not to mention they are collectibles from the 19th century.
