Lovely Victorian Scottish Solid Silver & Malachite Brooch, 1880s. Here is a lovely victorian scottish solid silver & malachite brooch. The brooch measures nearly two inches in diameterand is all set in solid silver, although not marked tested & guarranteed victorian silver. The brooch has a lovely rusched oval roundel style & a lovely design star central design with early engravings and all inset with flat cut polished real malachite, with its lovely green colour & natural markings. The brooch has a Cclasp but is missing its pin, which can be easily replaced and dates to around the 1880s, when scottish jewellery was at its height and this is a lovely example, but as with age & wear it does have some nibbles & cracks to the agate, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian brooch in very good origional complete condition as stated and such a nice example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Fab Victorian Large Solid Silver, Citrine & Multi Agate Brooch, 1880s. Here is a really lovely victorian solid silver, citrine & multi agate brooch. The brooch is large measuring two & a quarter inches in diameter and is all made of solid silver, although not marked, tested & guarranteed victorian silver. This brooch is typical of these victorian scottish brooches and has a lovely shape with early chasing in good quality detail anmd then is inset to the edges with multi agates of blue lace, carnelian, bloodstone etc which are all polished & flat cut with their lovely colour & natural markings. In the centre is a lovely raised citrine type gemstone which is probably faux, as they often were but looks lovely, faceted & claw set. On the back is a pin and Cclasp working well, although there is a solder mark to the edge of the brooch with the pin mount, but it looks to have been done quite crudely to the back on the mount , but i certainly do not think it detracts, but mentioned for total accuracy, see pics and it dates clearly to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height. This really is a lovely victorian large quality scottish brooch in very good origional complerte condition that looks so lovely worn and a unusual example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. The brooch measures just over half an inch by just over two & a half inches and is all set in victorian solid silver, not marked but tested & guarranteed as such. This brooch is a fabulous scottish specimen brooch in a unusual pietra dura style & all inset with all different kinds of real scottish agates etc in sections, flat cut, polished with there lovely colours & natural markings, bandings with some unusual agates i have not seen before or the markings in a fabulous quality design. Nicely this brooch is encased in thick solid silver to the back & comes complete with its pin & Cclasp working well. This brooch dates to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height of popularity and some fabulous pieces were made & yet again i have never seen one exactly the same as this one before, so a very interesting example and as with age it does have minute nibbles & a couple of cracked lines, which you would expect with age & wear, but nothing that i can see that detracts, but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian brooch in good origional complete condition as stated and such a lovely rare collectable example of these. Nicely this brooch has a silver rusched edge and silver engraved centre and on the back its backed & has its pin & Cclasp working well. This brooch dates to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height of popularity and some fabulous pieces were made & yet again i have never seen one exactly the same as this one before, so a interesting example and as with age it may have the odd minute nibble, which you would expect with age & wear, but nothing that i can see or detracts, & the back does have some bits out of it, but just mentioned for total accuracy, but certainly nothing that detracts, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian brooch in good origional complete condition and such a lovely rare collectable example of these.. Please note the marks on the agates are natural. The brooch measures nearly two & a quarter inches in diameter and is all set in victorian solid silver, not marked but tested & guarranteed. The brooch is a fabulous scottish specimen brooch and in a rusched roundel type style with a unusual entwined cut to the agates inset with all different kinds of scottish agate, pebble, granite etc in sections, flat cut with there lovely colours & natural markings, bandings with some unusual agates i have not seen before or the markings. Nicely this brooch has a silver engraved centre and on the back its solid silver backed & it will need its pin & Cclasp replacing to wear it again as a brooch as it has a bail & looks to have been worn as a pendant. This brooch dates to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height of popularity and some fabulous pieces were made & yet again i have never seen one exactly the same as this one before, so a interesting example and as with age it does have minute nibbles & a couple of cracked lines, which you would expect with age & wear, but nothing that i can see that detracts, but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. Beautiful Victorian Quality Solid Silver & Scottish Banded Agate Bracelet, 1880s. Here is the most beautiful victorian quality solid silver & scottish banded agate bracelet. The bracelet measures approx nine inches all the way round & each section measures half an inch by one inch with a depth of half an inch and its all set in solid silver, although not marked where i can see, tested & guarranteed victorian solid silver. The bracelet consists of six sections which are all lozenge shaped with faceted shaped sides and are all inset with real scottish banded agate. The agate is encased in solid silver to either end which on alternate sections has lovely early chasings to it. The agate is just superb, all origional scottish banded agate with lovely colouring & specimen type sections of agate with a fabulous variety and really good strong banding and nicely polished. The bracelet comes complete with a lovely early victorian large heart padlock clasp working well and one side with lovely early chasings and the other with a scottish flat cut polished green agate. This bracelet is totally origional to the victorian period of around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height and this really is a fabulous origional example of this which is getting harger to find these days and as with age, this bracelet has been glued at some stage back into one of the mounts, which is fine, but it shows the glue marks, so this doesnt detract but is just mentioned for total accuracy. However this really is a beautiful victorian bracelet in good origional complete condition, that looks so lovely worn and most certainly will not disapoint and a fabulous example of these.
