Stunning Solid Silver Victorian floral and leaf engraved Bangle. This is a solid bangle not hollow and is decorated to the front with a flower and leaf decoration and the rear is plain and virtually scratch free silver. The condition is super for a bangle of this age (circa 1890), just 2 minor dents to the back (see photo’s), and it has just been repolished to a high standard it looks super! Its quite wide at 26 mm and is of an oval shape with the inside circumference measuring 6.75 inches around. It clips firmly with a push to open clip and weighs a decent 30.6 grams (1 full ounce) of sterling silver. WIDE VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER FLORAL & LEAF DECORATED BANGLE BRACELET STERLING. Stunning Solid Silver Victorian Hinged Bangle in fantastic condition with the original box. Full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1885. It features a raised central section with ball decorations to the front and the rear is plain sterling silver. The condition is fantastic for a vintage bangle thats over 130 years old. No significant dents, dings, bumps, bruises etc and left in original condition. Width 25 mm Inside circmference measures 6.75 inches around Weight 44.4 grams (1.5 ounces). This is an excellent antique Victorian solid silver wide cuff bangle. It is stamped “Sterling Silver” and “Silver”. It is beautifully engraved and has onlaid rose gold roses and yellow gold leaves. It is approx 3.2 cm (1 1/4 inches) and the opening measures approx 5 cm x 6.4 cm (2 inches x 2 1/2 inches). The circumference of the inside is approx 18.8 cm. It has been only lightly cleaned to preserve its great vintage look. The bangle is in excellent antique condition with only minimal signs of wear entirely commensurate with age. Antique Wide Victorian Solid Silver Hinged Cuff Bracelet Bangle Birmingham 1883. Please scroll down for lots more photos. An antique Victorian solid silver hinged bracelet by Robert James Dick, and with full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1883. The bracelet is of wide oval form with folded edges and hinges open via a simple leaf spring clasp. The front half of the bracelet has an incised chequered design with alternating patterns, a central bead & ring detail within raised castellated borders, and all enclosed within raised castellated edges surmounted by beading. One side of the interior carries the makers mark for Robert James Dick (who worked from Hylton St, Birmingham) and full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1883 – 84 (date letter i), whilst the other side carries the lion passant & date letter. Interior dimensions approx 2 1/4″ x 2″ at widest points (approx 5.8cm x 5.1cm). The bracelet is wide at approx 1 1/2″ to the front (inc beading) and 1 3/8″ wide at the rear, 41.3 grams. Good antique condition with no damage or restoration and just expected, but very light wear commensurate with age & use, a good hinge / closure, the only point to note is a small and very shallow bruise to the rear, unboxed. An unusual and remarkable antique 19th century Victorian hallmarked sterling silver buckle bangle, with ornate and extremely high quality hand chased floral detail to the front with ball detail to the edge. The front buckle can be opened to reveal an oval picture aperture with silver frame which can be removed to insert a photo or momento of a loved one.
