Designed with four long cylinder shaped grey banded agate pieces with single spherical carnelian agates in between each. All set and mounted with sterling silver settings with a delicate engraved finish. Hallmarks ; none to settings, 925 to modern replacement clasp. Weight ; 35.5 grams. Size ; 8 1/2 inches long, 31mm x 10mm grey agate pieces. Very minor wear, no chips or cracks to stones. Beautiful Art Deco Rare Quality Long Solid Silver Filigree Necklace. Here is the most beautiful art deco solid silver filigree necklace. The necklace is long measuring nearly fourty inches all the way round & is all made of continental solid silver. This necklace is absolutely exquisite & i have never seen another of this quality it is certainly not the usual types of early filigree work & i bought it for myself but have never got round to wearing it, but its just to lovely to not be admired & quite a statement piece. The necklace all consists of uniform beads, circular of approx nearly threequarter inches in diameter & they all have this fine early pierced filigree work in good detail. The beads are all connected with good strong matching silver links & then both the end strong links are clearly hallmarked with continental hallmarks, but i dont recognise for what country or the emblems, but as with this work it probably is a low grade continental silver & it comes complete with a marked silver bolt ring clasp working well & it dates to around the art deco era. This really is a fabulous art deco necklace in very good origional complete condition that looks beautiful worn & most certainly is a rare one off example. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Beautiful Vintage Quality Solid Silver & Diamond Paste Brooch. Here is a really beautiful vintage solid silver & diamond paste brooch. The brooch is large measures two inches by two & a quarter inches & is all made of solid silver. This brooch is really beautiful in a large garland ribbon type style in thick silver the brooch is inset with white faceted paste stones to look like diamonds which give a absolutely sparkling dazzling effect. On the back is a pin & rolling Cclasp working well & the brooch has a full set of hallmarks & makers mark which is rubbed so hard for me to read, but dates to around the 1940-60s. However this really is such a lovely piece of quality vintage jewellery in excellant origional complete condition that looks stunning worn & quite a statement piece & a really beautiful example of these. Beautiful Vintage Quality Solid Silver Engraved Buckle Bangle, Chester, 1940. Here is a really beautiful vintage quality solid silver buckle bangle. The bangle measures just over two inches by two & a half inches with a depth of threequarters of an inch with the buckle part having a depth of just over one inch & all made of solid silver. This bangle is such quality & one of the best buckle bangles i have ever seen. The bangle has a plain back & then the front looks like a belt buckle & is beautifully engraved in really good detail & it has a unusual clasp that opens on the buckle, which opens on a hinge all working very well & it is not adjustable this is the size of it. Inside it has a full set of english hallmarks for Chester, silver & 1940 & makers mark of S&E & the buckle also has the lion mark & it also says To olga, from john, 5-11-40 & obviously this has been quite treasured, but has been worn, so with age & wear there is some marks & slight dents as you would associate with wear, but certainly nothing that i can see that detracts in any way, see pics. However this really is a beautiful vintage buckle bangle in very good origional complete condition & a really fabulous chester example & a real quality example of these. Fabulous Arts & Craft Large Quality Silver Gilt Ruskin Brooch. Here is a really fabulous large arts & craft silver gilt ruskin brooch. The brooch measures nearly two inches in diameter and is all set in a solid silver gilt rim, that nicely retains all of its rose gold colour. The brooch is then inset with a fabulous plaque of ruskin pottery with its lovely markings & colour. On the back is a pin & Cclasp working well although the pin is a replacement & it dates to the arts & craft era, but it is not marked for ruskin where i can see, but this is not unusual as so many pieces were not marked, but it certainly looks to be this with the quality & it also came with another pice of quality signed ruskin, see pics. This really is a fabulous arts & craft ruskin brooch in very good origional condition and a lovely example of these. Beautiful Art Deco Quality Solid Silver, Amethyst & Marcasite Necklace. Here is a really lovely art deco quality solid silver, amethyst & marcasite necklace. The necklace measures sixteen & a half inches all the way round & is all made of solid silver. This necklace is really lovely & totally epotomises the era with its fabulous quality design. The necklace has a silver rope style chain around to lovely drops of four solid silver drops which have the lovely shaped art deco design which is rounded engraved and then inset with sparkling marcasites. It then has three drops which measure half an inch by just over half of an inch & again set in solid silver, oval shaped with a border of sparkling marcasites & then inset with faceted amethysts which are securely collet set & the amethysts are a lovely lavender in colour & open backed to appreciate the gemstones. The necklace has a large bolt ring clasp working well & has the early silver mark which is marked in numerous places & this necklace dates to the 1930-50s & as with age there is a couple of marcasites missing which certainly doesnt detract, as they cant be seen as this necklace has so much going on & i only noticed under a strong loupe, but just mentioned for total accuracy & could very easily be replaced if necessary, see pics. However this really is a fabulous art deco necklace that looks such fine quality worn & as wearable today as when first made & such a lovely piece of art deco jewellery.
